You enter into the wooden floored hall and immediately feel the cosy homeliness of this charming house. Downstairs you find the generous lounge, comfortably furnished with a real fire, perfect for relaxing in front of during the winter months to watch a film, a play a game or make use of the WiFi. The smart TV enables guests to log into their own streaming account for your own recommended viewing or pair their device with the music speakers to stream from their personal music accounts.

A feature of the house is the large bespoke modern kitchen with extendable dining table. This is truly stunning and the beautiful stone flagged under heated floor makes it particularly cosy and a favourite for our canine guests. This spacious open plan room is perfect for extended family celebrations which many of our guests take advantage of. This exceptional light and airy room has patio doors which lead to the stunning indoor swimming pool room.
The Swimming Pool is simply amazing, a full 12 metres long it can be used for real exercise swimming and also give kids a large space to play water games and with the fun inflatables. There is an open shower area for easy access and sun loungers to relax on. No other holiday let in the area offers such a superb facility.
To the rear there is a large completely enclosed and private garden accessed from French doors in the kitchen. Designed over two tiers there is plenty of lawn for your children or dog to play safely. Good quality garden furniture and barbecue are provided for your enjoyment. With the colourful plants and shrubs it is a quiet haven to relax in after a busy day sightseeing or on the beach.
Downstairs also we have our newly refurbished accessible bedroom suite. The large suite includes a sofa and zip and link beds which can be made up either as twin beds or a super king sized bed for added versatility. The bed can be raised for anyone should it be required and there is plenty of space for wheelchair access around the room. The ensuite wet room is suitable for disabled use with lowered sink, shower seat and grab rails.

No we have one disabled space for blue badge holders which needs to be requested in advance of arrival. The driveway has to be kept clear for access. However, Low Street is very quiet and there is not a problem with parking 2 or 3 cars outside the house.
There are bath and hand towels provided for each guest. However you may wish to bring towels to use after swimming.
Yes we do. Please ask in advance of arrival for the cot to be made up for you.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend at Home Farm. The property was well equipped with plenty of room for our family of 12. The house was perfect for those in our party with mobility issues and the pool was a real bonus. The local village is lovely with two pubs and Scarborough is within a 10 minute drive.
We had a great multi generationalfamily weekend. This is a lovely spacious cottage with everything we needed and more. The swimming pool was a brilliant bonus. Having a well designed suite with accessible wet room meant that our disabled daughter could join us too. We would happily return and recommend it highly.
This year was our second visit to Home Farm, the family love it. We enjoy the security of its large, enclosed well-kept garden that gives us peace of mind that our dog can't escape. The house is warm and friendly with more bedrooms to suit our family needs but are always handy to have. The main reason we chose home farm was the private swimming pool where we spent most of our time. The village of is quite with a couple of pubs, one that serves great food. There is a café that does great bacon buttes but opens a little late for my liking. Thanks again Melanie.
Our second multi generational family holiday at home farm was just as good as our first. The house is homely yet spacious enough for a big group, the garden is lovely to sit out in and the kids spent every free minute in the pool! It had everything we needed for the week and is clean and comfortable. The accessible suite was perfect for my dad who is a full time wheelchair user. All his needs were met by the house and he could access the garden too. Scalby itself is picturesque (daisy's tearoom was especially lovely) and in easy travelling distance of lots of family and wheelchair friendly days out. We went on the steam train from Grosmont to Whitby (need to book the wheelchair space in advance), visited Peasholm park and had fish and chips by the beach in Scarborough, all with relative ease, just a little planning for where to park and avoid steep hills. We'll definitely come again!
We had a lovely long weekend celebrating with family for a 60th birthday There was all ages ranging from 5 weeks to 60, , Home Farm was lovely in a nice location and less than a 10 minute drive into Scarborough, we were extremely lucky with the weather which was the icing on the cake,We made use of the lovely garden and the swimming pool was amazing the kids were never out of it . We will definitely return in the future
We had such a wonderful stay at Home Farm! A wheelchair accessible ground floot suite made it so easy for us as a family and the pool was amazing. A beautiful location with two fab pubs around the corner!
