The response to our summer pebble painting competition has been fantastic. We are so glad that the children who stayed at Home Farm House this summer have enjoyed taking part. Right from our first guests after lockdown at the beginning of July to our final guests of the school holidays at the end of August we’ve had children of all ages taking part.
And the paintings have been amazing! From a shark and “Nemo” to a bucket and spade, starfish and a beach
inspired no doubt by the Scarborough seaside. We’ve had a butterfly and flowers possible inspired by the Home Farm garden (our buddlia bush attracts so many butterflies).
We’ve even had a penguin, painted by 3 year old Eve – maybe she enjoyed a day out to the
Scarborough Sea Life Centre
Choosing a winner is so hard that we’ve passed the decision over to the public!
We’ve posted pictures of all the entries twice on to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and the one with the most likes and shares will receive the prize of a £10 book token and … of course, it has to be ….. a stick of Scarborough Rock!!
We’ll be announcing the winner next week.
